Our Story
Hola Primo!
Primos was founded in 2023 by my wife and I. We were high school sweethearts from Florida who decided to make Kansas our home. As a military veteran, I’ve always been driven by purpose, and together with my wife, we turned our dream into reality. After my service, we chose to stay in Kansas to share our love for Puerto Rican food with the local community. Our goal is to bring a taste of our heritage to this new home of ours.

Why Primos?
We picked the name "Primos" because it means "cousins" in English. In Puerto Rico, saying "Hola, Primo" is a warm way to greet friends and family. We wanted to bring that same feeling of family and community to our restaurant, so when you dine with us, you’re not just a guest—you’re part of our Primos family.
